Spintax (or spin syntax) uses a marked-up version of text to indicate which parts of the text should be altered or rearranged. The different variants of one paragraph, one or several sentences, or groups of words or words are marked.


Spintax is a collection of words or phrases. Each word/phrase is delimited by | (pipe) character. The Spintax begins with an opening Parenthesis (and ends with a closing Parenthesis ).


Sample Spintax Format


My (green|blue|yellow) parrot is sitting (there|over there|on the tree ).


With this spintax we can get the following different results:

1) My green parrot is sitting there.

2) My blue parrot is sitting there.

3) My yellow parrot is sitting there.

4) My green parrot is sitting over there.

5) My blue parrot is sitting over there.

6) My yellow parrot is sitting over there.

7) My green parrot is sitting on the tree.

8) My blue parrot is sitting on the tree.

9) My yellow parrot is sitting on the tree.
